About Me

My name is Anya, and I’ve been on a long journey of navigating my anxiety around climate change. As a lifelong nature lover and a climate activist, it often feels like I’m in a constant uphill battle to protect the Earth I love so deeply. Eco-anxiety can feel isolating and overwhelming, and I wanted to create a community where we can share resources, stories, and connect through our shared experiences.

For me, eco-anxiety often makes me feel powerless, like no matter what I do, it won’t make a difference in the face of such a massive crisis. The constant stream of negative news only adds to the weight, feeding my fear and stress about the planet’s future. When I’m caught in that spiral, it can freeze me, making it hard to act and making the climate advocacy work I care about feel pointless.

That’s why, over the next few months, I’ll be traveling the world to explore mindfulness practices and how they can help us cope with eco-anxiety. My hope is to find ways to reconnect, stay grounded, and transform anxiety into meaningful action, and to share that journey with others who might be feeling the same way.
